  • Rodgers 578 query

Greetings all. Due to ongoing medical issues I have had to place my Organ purchase plans on hold. A couple of days ago while scanning the local craigslist., I found for sale a eight-year-old Rodgers 578 organ . This instrument is offered by a private Solar.
From my research, I found that this organ was introduced in 2011 and was the entry level line of Rodgers organs at that time. It is based on the same Roland platform that was used for the C-330 and c-380. I will be visiting this organ later this week.

Can anyone tell me what the original purchase price of this Organ was when it was introduced. The internal amplification on this one is rather sparse but according to the specs, is expandable with external amplification, based on the information provided by John in a post I found on this form. This is for home use.

BTW, I met Hector Olivera last year and we spoke about the C Dash 330 serious. He was very complementary about this line of instruments which he did represent before becoming an Allen spokesperson. Your comments and replies

As always thank you for your comments and thoughts

      Casavant Fan,

Congratulations on your acquisition! I hope it provides enjoyment for you for years to come.

I apologize for not responding to your other thread, but in reality, I don't know much about more recent Rodgers models-only analogs and earlier digital organs. Thanks for keeping us posted!
