There is a Cantor 730, reduced to $500 near me. What do you think of this as a practice orgran? Right now I don't have any decent organ to practice on.

There is a posibility of me grabbing a Conn 721 fixer-upper when the church I play at gets a replacement. Probably would be 2009 before that happens.

    Quantum,

This fellow has been trying to sell the Cantor now for over a year. My guess is that there is something wrong with it. Anyways, there is little interest in old analog, pre-MIDI organs. That particular organ dates from the mid to late 80s.

If your expectations are not too high, and it is in some kind of working order, $500 is probably about what it is worth. Also don't expect much in the way of technical support, replacement parts, etc. Essentially this is an orphan.

Go check it out................and give us a report.

    AV

PS. Yes this is the same organ as a previous thread you alluded to.

Thanks for your input Arie. Of course I would rather get a Rodgers or Allen, but my inability to practice on something worthwhile is starting to get to me. The church I play at is 1 hour away from home.
