Hi!

See this article online: http://www.organworks.com/Web/about/testimonials.asp

That article is from somebody who owned a rodgers 22B and then used midi.

The
downside of the 22B is that it does not have internal speakers. The
upside, however, is that has two expression pedals. I highly recommend
having a regular speaker and also a leslie speaker attached.

I
own a Rodgers 100 organ. It is also two manuals, a little more basic
(only one expression pedal), but newer and self contained.

I
purchased this organ for $1500 dollars including delivery. I bought
this organ thinking that I wanted to add MIDI, like you, however, once
you hear the sound of these organs, you will likely change your mind.
These early rodgers organs have a great sound, and in addition, you
would be spending at least $5,000 to midi-fy your organ (notice that is
greater than the price of the instrument). Also, it is dangerous
to try to do too much to an older console.

There were two
"additions" added to my organ, however, which I liked a lot. The first
isan Alesis Nanoverb Unit. It gives you very realistic reverbation and
also lots of other misc. audio effects. I also have a headphone jack
installed with its own volume control. I highly recommend both of these
additions.

I hope my ideas have helped you and answered your questions!

Info on Rodgers 22B organs
Hello all! I have been looking around for a long time and have been writing many post on different organs that I may get. WELL I FOUND ONE AND I AM ACTUALLY GETTING IT NOW. It is a Rodgers 22b organ from the 1960s. It is $1,000 and in perfect shape

I need info on this organ. I dont have a picture but there is one on ebay right now. I AM GETTING IT BECAUSE FOR THAT PRICE, IT BEATS ANY ORGAN I HAVE PLAYED. I THINK IT IS BETTER THAN EARLY ALLEN DIGITALS AND NEWER RODGERS FROM THE 70'S AND 80'S

I would like info one the insides of this organ and how to add midi and reverb and any other info on this organ such as a manual would be nice. Thanks!
