  • How to connect Baldwin H5 tone cabinets to Baldwin 625 organ

I have a Baldwin 625 organ and two H5 tone cabinets. In the past, I had them hooked up correctly. Recently I had to move the organ out of the basement and hired movers to do it. I thought I had a schematic showing the hookup for the tone cabinets, but after the move I cannot find it. Could anyone help me? There are two black cords coming out of the organ, one for each tone cabinet, but strangely enough, the wire colors are somewhat different in each cord. One has red, yellow, green, blue, purple, white and black; the other has red, green, aqua (light blue), dark blue, tan, white and black. I do have the technical manual for the organ and the tone cabinets, but can't find anything in there to help me. The posts on the tone cabinets are labeled 5V/SW, GND (several of these), LP (which I understand is bass), M1, M2, M3, and M4.

    Thanks,

    Roy

The colors don't matter. Check at the OTHER end of the cable to see what each color is connected to and then connect to the same marked terminal at the organ end and speaker end.

Thanks. Now that you point it out it seems perfectly obvious.
