I can't believe that I never noticed this before. I had the back off of the console trying to locate where the capture system battery was located. I saw what appears to be a paddle switch to the left of the Great/Choir/Pedal expression shoe. It is almost impossible to see from the bench without a flashlight. What is it and what does it do?

If it is the same thing I am thinking of, it is a sustain kick switch. On later models, it also became a Sostenuto switch. They were usually installed with the Opto-key keying. The sustain works with MIDI with sustain voices like piano.
