  • Wurlitzer power switch

I have a wurlitzer electric organ in my church similar to the 4059 by pictures. When I turn the organ on it does nothing but after it is turned on I put pressure on the power switch and it starts coming to life. What should I do should I order a new switch do you think it is something deeper.

It is probably the switch. Probably a Carling switch of the MAAOA-215 series; there are several variations based on color, legend, and termination.
    Datasheet is here: https://www.carlingtech.com/sites/de...ls_%26_COS.pdf

You'll probably have to open up the organ to see which version of the switch you want. If the original had wire leads coming right out of the switch, you might want to change to quick disconnect (and crimp on terminals to the exisitng wire) or use the screw terminal version for easier installation.

Once you decide on the version and determine the part number, this site will let you find distributors who have it in stock and their prices: https://www.trustedparts.com/en

You can also contact Morelock's Organ Parts and Service in Rienzi Mississippi. They have the parts for Wurlitzer organs.
