I couldn't help but notice that someone else on here was considering some of the bargin organs on e-bay. I had the opportunity to purchase a fairly decent Baldwin AGO organ for, sit down for this one... $51. Even if it was a smaller organ and not all that great, I figured that for the cost of shipping (I was qouted $579) it would be worth it. The problem was finding a company that actually moved organs. Many (including e-bay partner freightquote.com) will tell you that they will ship your organ and then later call back and tell you that due to liabilty issues (????) they will not ship pianos or organs.
I had to forfeit that auction, but I found a great deal at my local (several hundred miles away) Allen dealer. I glad this happned becuase I got a really super practice organ at a very decent price. Only after I purchased this little bad boy I found out that vintage organs.com will move pretty much any organ for ca. $800.
Point is, it MAY be more ecconomical if you find a dream organ on e-bay to purchase it and have vintage organs.com or someone move it.
