  • Thomas Fancy Foot Combo Trianon band box - power supply question

    Hi Folks -

Somebody ripped the 'band box" (i.e. the rhythm machine) out of a Thomas Fancy Foot Combo - a Trianon, I think. I found this one part at a thrift store, but I don't have the rest of the organ.

If possible, I'd love to power it up and hear the rhythm sounds - but I don't know how much power to put into it, or where. I have the Service Information document with schematics, and the schematics mostly match the electronics - but the schematics *don't* match the connectors, so I can't tell which wire is which.

My real question is: is the power supply built into this box? Or does this box take in 25 volts, which another power supply in the organ converts from 110v?

I can spend more time dissecting if if an obvious answer doesn't turn up, but these seem like fairly basic questions for anybody who might have repaired one of these in the past.

Regardless, thanks for any input you can offer!

Generally the power supplies are not built into items like these. The organ it came from would have a general power supply that converts AC line voltage to the various DC voltages needed to operate this module.
