" Man, I wish I had the money to jump on this. It probably needs a new tube or something."

Go ahead and buy it anyway! It's only money. Find a way. You'll be glad you did. What a bargain. If you're short on cash, see if they will let you pay with Paypal and credit card. Do it! Get way in debt like me and be happy about it. The economy needs your business.

Unfortunately, I think someone on this forum already owns it! The listing was removed today and dna[numbers] in the post above was describing a C-2 that sounded exactly like the one on the ad. Weird how that always seems to happen with Hammonds. I guess there are more of us in the NW than I thought...

Worth it I'm sure. I had to do the same to get my M in Port Townsend, but that really wasn't bad.

There's a 145 in Portland right now--at least there was--but I don't have the $825 for it, nor will it most likely be there by the time I should arrive.

I'm still waiting for an awesome deal on a console (I've gotten less picky as to which one) but I know there's no way I'd finish my M chop if that were tohappen now.

How'd you find the CV?

I started getting frantic on Craigslist... nothing decent in the Seattle area... okay... nothing decent in the Western Washington area... drat... nothing decent in all of Washington... *eye twitch*

I pretty much broke down and said "what the hell". A day driving to Portland for a lifetime of having a console.
