    Help! </P>


    Hello everyone! I am in some need of serious help!! </P>


    Remember the post about my leslie horn speed being slower? Well....I tried everything you all said to do. I took ,</P>


    off the horn, cleaned the spindle plate, and kind of fixed the wobble problem. But I am afraid to touch the</P>


    motors. Can someone tell me how to go about cleaning the hell out of a two speed motor. Thank you!</P>

      Cleaning the motors will probably fix it. I have a 46W that had the top rotor motor assembly replaced to the 2 speed variety. When I first got it I had the same problems as you. It would have to run long enough for everything to warm up before the top rotor would go to fast speed. What I found was that the drive spindle on the slow motor was not retracting from the pulley on the fast motor until it was good and warmed up. That created too much drag for the fast motor to go into high speed. I oiled the slow motor and the problem disappeared.

        I think I am definantly going to take the motors apart, and clean them.
