• What to look for when buying/trying a Hammond (M100)

    Hi,

    I'm heading off this tuesday to look at a M100. The owner says it´s in mint condition. Although I havn't seen any photos of it.

    I was just wondering if you can help me out with pointers on what to check for. Some obvious things are;

    - Checking each drawbar on every key

    - Bass pedals

    - Making sure all the "flip switches" work as intended

    - Overall condition of the furniture etc

    Any other things to be aware of? I have a good 5 hours to spend there so I'm planning to do a thourough run-down ;D
