I bought the pre-amp power supply filter capacitor kit from The Tone Wheel Hospital for my AO-10 amp.

Where the large one goes and how it's hooked up is a no-brainer; just find a symbol marking one terminal. There are 3 other capacitors, 2 small and and1 larger; they are the "in-line" style; any ideas where they go?

I know to discharge the caps BEFORE I try to un-solder them for removal; it's just a messy thing to do.

Email Rick at TWGH for the instruction sheet. I recapped my AO-28 last week and if I hadn't got the instructions from Dave on this boardI'd have been lost too. In my case the secondary can cap is not available in the propper spec so individual caps need to be installed on the 12AX7 & 12BH7.

Also in my case the largestof the non can caps was for the 6C4 in the percussion circuit but you have no percussion on a C2. All of these are bypass caps.

You will need a big iron to bust the old cans loose.
