• Hammond B400 - info and advice please

    Hi there

I work for a CommunityRegeneration Charity in South Wales in the UK and a local clubhave a Hammond B400 they want to get rid of. It looks like its in very good condition, flightcased and with a Leslie.

However, there doesnt seem to be a huge amount of information on this (apparently mid-eighties and midi)model on the internet. Just wondering how they compare to other organs? I'm assuming its not got that classicB3 sound? I am a guitarist in a band playing Dylan & The Band/Springsteen-ish stuff so am genuinely interested but our keyboard player didnt know much either.

Is there much interest in these organs? What could it be worth?

Hoping you guys can help me ;)

Link below with bit more info, b400 dates from about 1984/85, one last old hammonds, leslie probably smaller 310/312 model think with b400, not as good as bigger models.

Value wise if working ok leslie if smaller model probably worth £100-£150, organ rare so hard to value but probably couple hundred. Not bad sounding hammond, not tonewheel but still a hammond/leslie cost thousands when new so as David Dickinson would say, bit of bargain if can buy cheaply!
