• TTR-100 problems

Hey, me and my bandmate just bought a Hammond TTR-100 from 1970 in pretty good condition!

But there is a lot background noise when we use the headphone output for the Leslie, any idea how to fix this ?

Or is the only way just to use the originaly Leslie Plug ?

    Re: TTR-100 problems

If it is like the one on my old T202 then they usually are bad quality. On the T spinets it comes from a small board above the speaker crossover. If you look at Hammondwiki there is a recipe for a line out on a spinet. I added an extra one straight of pins 19? and 20? (plus and minus) on the main amp board. Some say you should pad these down with a resistor although I am not sure which one. If you have the same main amp board as a T series spinet it might just be that the pins are loose on the board.

    Cheers

Yes, the headphone signal is too strong. I would take the line out from pins 7 and 8(+) in the main amp assy. Pins 19 and 20 are speaker level, too and not recommended IMO...
