• Is this standard? (M100 with pictures)

    I'm just wondering about some things on my M100. Take a look at the pics:

    http://micke.lugnoro.com/2.jpg
    http://micke.lugnoro.com/3.jpg
    http://micke.lugnoro.com/4.jpg

    PS. The links got screwed up, you have to copy and paste.

    On picture 1. What is that knob? I havn't seen that on the pictures/videos i've seen of other M100. The text says "Tonband" or something like that.

    The organ seems to have a DIN connector (pic 4), is that also standard or something added on. Would it possible to connect that to say a guitar amp or a PA?

    I read here;

    http://acapella.harmony-central.com/....php?t=1874060

    that some leslies have a DIN connector. Is the signal you get from a DIN the same as the one from a 1/4"?

    Let me know if you need any other pictures.

    Tonband. That's German for 'tape recorder', IIRC. I guess that the knob and the 3-pin DIN socket are something to do with that. At a guess I'd say that you can record from the M to an old style mono tape deck with DIN sockets and that if you replay from the deck, the Tonband knob will control the playback volume.

    As for the 8 - pin DIN on the Leslie 21, I don't think it will accept the 1/4" line out level. In any case there are better (and cheaper) Leslies that would suit the M100 rather more. Find a nice 251!

    It's not what you play. It's not how you play. It's the fact that you're playing that counts.

      Okey, so in other words, totally worthless! Thanks for the reply though :)

      I'm currently looking for a Leslie. They're not that abundant here in Scandinavia. And the price....oooffff
