The reverb in my A100 worked when I got it last year for 5 minutes or so before it quit. I cleaned all the connections but nothing seemed to get it going. I gave up and was told by some guys on this board that the reverb tank probably died and I should replace it. I looked into replacing the tank but never got around to ordering it. Last week, I fired up my A100 and the reverb was working for a few seconds then quit. This leads me to believe that the tank is fine but there is a connection or something gone screwy. Does anyone have any ideas?

Those reverb units can be a challange sometimes. Start by cleaning the RCA connections at the tank with DeOxit D5. Tighten the ground connectors of the male RCAs by giving them a little squeeze. Pull all the tubes out of the reverb amp and clean the pins and sockets. It would also be a good idea to clean the reverb volume pot just to make sure. DeOxit here again. Check the signal wires at the speaker and the connections to the main amp/speakers.

It sounds like a connection to me but there could be something in the reverb amp its self causing the issue. I think your tank is ok too.
