I'd now like to have a reverb option. Just wondering what works well for a reverb-less M3. Not sure if I want to go through the hassle and expense of finding and installing a Hammond tank on it as I saw that someone was happy using a Alesis Nano verb unit between their M3 and external amp. I have a line out on my M3. I've seen these new for 99$ but there are all kind of reverb pedals available (like Danolectric) for a lot less. Has anyone tried a reverb pedal with their Hammond?

I've never tried a reverb pedal, but for line level output, aren't you supposed to use rackmount effects?

there are instrument level effects loop kits available from TREK II i believe, but you'd need 1 for each manual (and a stereo reverb pedal... they do exist)

Actually The prices of Hammond and other organ reverb tanks are not
bad on ebay. I heard that you can use an old stereo amp to drive it. I have a spare SS stereo amp. How and where would I hook all this up to my M3? Would I be better off hooking it up to my Leslie (which I use all the time anyway)? I do have a line out on the M3 (I converted the rca input on the swell pedal box).

I tried Googling and searching here for an instructional for the M3 hookup but came up with nothing.
Hmm, I'd have to find this first: "Remove cable from amplifier that runs to the divide network. Insert this plug into
reverb amplifier socket marked Dividing Network." Does this refer to the crossover network?
The reverb speaker in the 122 is side mounted but I already have a hole
for where the tweeter was in the upper center on the 130. I wonder if
that speaker placement matters?

I got some good answers at the Hammond Zone. Looks like I can put a
splitter on the line out to the Epi amp and have one signal go to that
and the other to a reverb pedal------> ss amp------> speaker
(inside the 130) set up. I have a local music store that lets me easily
return equipment that doesn't work out for me so I mayswell try one of
their pedals.
accutronics still makes the same reverb tanks they made for hammond back then, if you can power one with an amp you already have, you could contact them... if you give them a hammond part number, they'll tell you what number you should order from them...
Found I had a reverb unit right under my nose! I bought a Realistic Electronic Reverb unit cat. # 38-110 (no model # , out of production now) about 25 years ago that I've used as a preamp for my practice mic in my studio). Duh...forgot it was a reverb unit! Not sure if it compares with a decent pedal but I put a splitter on my line out of the M3 and ran the reverb line into my surround sound stereo. Now I'm tri-amped! (130, Epiphone for my top Leslie unit, and the reverb unit/amp) it's a real balancing act with the sound adjustments now but I got 'Verb! If I put the reverb amp too loud can't hear the Leslies well and vice versa. ( She's probably right, but my wife thinks i've lost my mind with the cables running all over the place from the M3-she says I'm obsessed with my organ. I told her it's a common problem with guys on the forum![;)] The Realistic Electronic Reverb unit has 4 sliders: volume, delay, repeat, depth. Never have been able to figure out what "repeat" does. I need to get a Y connector to connect the M3's line out to both stereo channels to see what that and the surround sound will do.
