  • Mixer ran as preamp

Can someone explain to me how this mixer could be the organ preamp on a CV?

The two wires from the matching transformer(red/black) enter the rheostat box from the right. That is your 'pre' expression high impedance signal.
The two wires leaving the expression/rheo box to the preamp? Are 'post' expression high impedance! That's what you are looking for.

Now you know where the send/return is. Getting it to loop? No problem inserting a mixer. The BCV at the shop sure sounds purdy through a Midas aux or matrix!

Of course, this approach means you'll have to do without scanner vibrato.
      Current organs: AV, M-3, A-100
      Current Leslies: 22H, 122, 770

Why not rebuid the stock preamp? Full functionality, AND it will scream...

Enor is right IMO.Rebuild the preamp to get the scanner + tone AND you can still 'insert' a mixer! You can do both.
I split the post rheo signal with an A/AB box. With a Neo Ventilator run through an aux it's pretty dang close to a 122!
I don't like what tremelo does to harmonic percussion so a non rotary channel is a must!Stop works just fine for me.
