  • teck question on 147 amp

    hi guys

doing some work on the 147 amp replacing the 200uf/50 cap . the middle tap of the transformer goes to pin 1 (upper green wire - in position but temp removed for access) the tail of the 200uf/50 according to the diagram should go to pin two but in my case it shows as going to pin 1 and looks like jumped to pin 2.
my question is this normal - supported by the picture cant upload it sorry.. is pin 1 just a post and not an active pin for the oc3 ?

    appreciate the help guys

The positive end of the cathode bypass capacitor goes to the cathode resistor. The negative end goes to a 6550 socket terminal used as a ground connection terminal, a terminal shared by one of the green 6.3V heater wires since one side of the heater winding is grounded.

Ok thanks David. a common grounding point I was just concerned about the jumper I have so pin 1 and 2 are the collection points for the ground

      thanks Gord
