Hello,
I'm new to this form. I have been looking around and I have not found any where how to make the horn on the x-77L work like a 122 Leslie. For some reason Hammond shut the horn off on fast speed, more like they sabotaged the x-77 doing this. We all know Hammond did not like Leslie heck they despised them. So it must have pissed them off to have to pair the x-77 with a Leslie speaker.
So I have done this modification to the X-77L and it works great! Really wakes this beast up. Sounds way more like a B3 know it ramps up and down and you can even here key click in the
X-77 ( half of what a B-3 has ). Makes the X-77 sound much different. I went from the Vibrato amplifier in the X-77L directly to the horn. So that the horn is on all the time. I will post pictures of the whole mod soon. like they say a picture is worth a thousand words and much easier to under stand. It's a very easy mod took around 20 min.
Thank you
