    T-412 Vibrato Issue

    Hi All.

I have a T-412 which has recently developed an issue, along with a few problems still yet to be resolved.

The main problem is that the pedals and manuals only make sound with vibrato engaged. Happened all of a sudden just the other day. Sounds normal with vibrato on... Perc. & vibrato off = Nothing. Percussion sounds come through regardless.
Any ideas as to what might cause this?

Also; the Reiterate function is non-functioning as well. It's been this way since I got it. When switch is engaged, the perc. volume drops in the lower harmonic range.

    Thanks in advance.

Sounds like a faulty pin and post connector causing a bad contact between the circuit boards

To assist in understanding how these T series organs work, I suggest you visit the keyboard partners website where there is clear schematics and info available on repairing and modifying the T organs.

Sigh, I've had this one before, can't remember what it was exactly....

BUT the first thing to check is the blue trim knob on the vibrato amp, I recall it's over near the pin with the violet wire which connects the perc, vibrato and recovery amp outputs together.
That trim knob balances the output of the vibrato and clean sounds, it can knock out the clean sound altogether, even when vibrato isn't "on".

Hey fellas thanks for the replies.
I've looked for the trim pot as suggested but can't seem to locate it. On which board/area is it situated? I'm fine to do some disassembly but want to be headed in the right direction. Thanks again
