    Hi Josh,

They are putting out the Profkons again on special order. Expct to pay about 300US. Worth it.

Absolutely love mine. Passive distortion with amazing amount of control. Aesthetically pleasing install replacing the left cheek block on my B3. Anything from nice breakup of the Jensen driver to Gimme Some Lovin. No bad hum. Elegant.

Here are a couple of threads you could look up. Recent B3 modifications that might be of interest to you.

    Current status: Overdrive quest

    All the best,

    Dave

Aside from Kon's zener diode circuit (DIY or Commercial version), it sounds like you are seeking to achieve your sound via the use of pedals in your signal chain. Be aware that the signal level from your GG terminals is very hot. The following youtube clip will give you some idea as to what you will need to consider if using pedals to obtain the kind of distortion that I suspect you are looking for.

started a topic Pedals and connection

    Pedals and connection

I’m new to the Hammond world but I’m loving it. I really want a overdriven sound. So on a b3 what exactly would I have to do to get a distortion pedal like a neo ventilator into a b3? If I got a Leslie could I run it through that? Thanks in advance this forum has been very helpfull😁🤘🏻
