  • This sick puppy followed me home yesterday

.... and I just had to share the "instruction sheet" on it. It reads:

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FOR HAMMOND MOD. L-100

    1. CONNECT MAINS CABLE
    2. CONNECT LESLIE
    3. SET THE C**P ON FIRE
    4. LET ALL HELL BREAK LOOSE
    5. IF POSSIBLE ENJOY THE DISTORTION

It tickles the imagination as to what this poor little thing might have been thru in its life...

Not as nice as the one in your L100 vibrato mod video.....the instructions are priceless however.
Some 'patina' is just too good to be true.
For some people it doesn't matter what language 'instructions' are written in,they ignore them anyway.

Could be a challenge getting third harmonic perc to work? Might need a little attention?

This isn't going to get fixed - it's due to be taken apart and stored as spares.

Looks just like one I owned in 1979.
1962 A100, Leslie 145, Mini-vent., 1 Roland and 2 Yamaha pianos, Korg Micro X , Dave Smith MoPho, Nord Electro 3 with custom pedals and lower manual, plus assorted other stuff.

That is a thing of rare beauty, a work of art.
Wear and tear like that can't be faked.
Almost seems a shame to break her apart.
            Current:
1971 T-202 with Carsten Meyer mods: Remove key click filters, single-trigger percussion, UM 16' drawbar volume correction. Lower Manual bass foldback.
Korg CX3 (original 1980's analogue model).
1967 Leslie 122 with custom inbuilt preamp on back panel for 1/4" line-level inputs, bass & treble controls. Horn diffusers intact.
2009 Marshall 2061x HW Plexi head into Marshall 4x12 cabinet.

            Former:
            1964 C3
            196x M-102
            197x X5
            197x Leslie 825
