  • Moved to Frankfurt Germany for 18 months. Any good B3 players here?

Dear colleagues, this post is unusual, but somebody may be able to help.

So we have moved here to Frankfurt, Germany from Canada and are here for 18 months. The B3 is back home, and I am in withdrawal and miss playing every day. I have a MIDI controller (MIDI Plus), a MacBook, GarageBand and MainStage, a couple of external speakers, and at least I have something to play on.

I don't do bars, but I was hoping that there is a great restaurant somewhere where there is, at least occasionally, a B3 (C3/A100) trio or something similar. Or a gathering place where they sell Hammonds. What I have found so far is a unique hole in the wall music store, Musikhous Bornheim, really fun to visit because of the vintage gear. Out in the back sheds he has 2 old Hammonds with drum machines, and it is so dark that I can't get the models. But nothing like a good M or A,B or C.

    Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Yamaha C3 grand, 67 Tele blond neck, Les Paul Standard, PRS 24, Gibson classical electric, Breedlove acoustic electric, Strat, P Bass, Rogers drum kit, Roland TD 12 digital drums, Apollo quad, older blackfaced Fender Twin, other amps, mics and bits and pieces cluttering up the "studio."

        Thanks Hoaxel!

I was recently in Idstein, which is a very pretty town. It's a small village but in the church there was a practice session of a symphony and choir that blew me away!

It looks like the Idstein fellow has a nice blonde B3, which took him 40 years to find! and a Rhodes. I am using Google Translate to see what's up.

Love my family heritage more every day. The food is very good. The Rhine Valley is amazing, especially the towns and castles.

You have given me some ideas.
