  • Hammond KX-c3 Reverb problem

Just bought a used Kxc3 Hammond and I have been thru the manual but cant figure out how to turn off the reverb. Changing the settings don't seem to change anything.
Is there something else i should try?
    Thanks in advance

You might try the Reverb button (Pg. 11 #29, Pg. 41). If it has been saved as on to a preset, turn it off and re-save the preset.

Also, Reverb settings are preset parameters so changes have to be saved to the currently active preset or that preset will revert to the saved settings the next time it is selected.

I Cant seem to change or turn off the reverb either at the switch or in the menu settings.
Is there a factory reset that may help or a firmware update?

Does the LED turn on/off when you press the Reverb button?

The OS version can be found by scrolling up to the last page in the menu (Pg. 83 #'s 3 - 7).

To reset, press and hold the red Record button and power on. Hold the button until "Loading Default..." appears.

I don't think Reverb is on in every preset in every Bank so find one that doesn't have it on and try saving it to other locations. (Pg's 42 - 44)

The Manual can be downloaded from here:

Also, you can test the Reverb button by pressing and holding it for a second or so. If the switch is good this should take you to the reverb menu page.
