  • H112 connector kit to Leslie 122

    Hi,

I bought myself a 122 Leslie to hook up with the H112 Organ, in the organ built in is the connector kit 8216 but it has is a minor problem.......
The connector to the Leslie was broken out.

Oké not a strait fit but i wanted to use the existing screw holes in the amp (and thit not measuring, just eyeballing)

The ground and B+ I could figure out in the Leslie amp and the 240 Volt comes no longer from the organ but has a become separated cable.

    The Organ pint out, 1 = channel A, 7 = channel B

But here comes THE question, what in the Leslie amp is channel A and What is channel B?

The 122 is a single channel speaker. Any channels from the organ would have to be mixed before they went to the Leslie if you wanted all of them spun.

I Presume (almost know it for sure) that the connector kit is for mixing the signals, your'e answer is not adding anything helpful to my question :-(.

I’m sorry if my answer is no help, but it does not change the fact that there is no A and B channel in a 122.

Over the years: Hammond M3, BC, M102, B3, four X77s and three PR-40s, a Thomas Electra and a Celebrity, three Fender Rhodes, Roland HS-10, HP-2000, HP-600, RD-600, JV-880, a thing made by Korg (?), two Leslie 910s, 122, 257, 258, 247, two 142s, and three custom-built Leslies. Wow, way too much money spent!

Today I replaced the connector in the connector kit with a speakon connector and hooked it al up to the organ.
The only guess was the channel A and B going over pin 1 and pin 6, following the schematics it was either going over the one ore the other.
I had it right the first time and it works and sounds great.
