  • Hammond B3 unfinished wood cases. Is this Website for real?

I have an A100 that I bought for $500. I do like the appearance of the B series cases, and I found this website, but can't find any confirmatory references. Is it for real? Has anyone tried this?

    Thanks.

No phone number, email, no contact information, link or any other information about the company. On this basis I wouldn't even try $5 "test your card" -option...:D

There has been www.hammondorgansales.com but the address goes nowhere.

I like the "test your card" comment. I guess Valhalla doesn't do the full cabinet, but could as a special order.

He used to do a full cabinet. $600. But that 15 years ago, so I'm sure that price has doubled at least, if, like you say, he does them at all.

I came close to pulling the trigger on that one back then, but decided a conversion wasn't worth it to me.

Nowadays, I actually prefer a C-style. But to each his own.

I recently rebuilt a 22H leslie with a rotted bottom and missing backs. Valhalla replicas were perfect and exact, but I think they only sell through a dealer. I used Tonewheel General Hospital and the transaction was easy and perfect.

They provide a B3-looking wood case, unfinished, with bench and wallboard, carrying handles for 1500 US. It's at least intriguing. The legs come off for transport and the handles look really robust and well-positioned. There is a metal access panel on the bottom. He sent more photos. Retrolinear had them do a black B3 housing and a video was also sent along.

My take: If the case for an A/B/orC is wrecked, this is a nice solution. Notwithstanding the good news, he did say that one would need midi controlled expression and bass pedals. Is that a problem?
