Some day there will be info as to the factory code info on these clavier.

Meanwhile, some photos of the clean-up. The brown stains were covered up long before I got the organ most likely by my Ham tech that rebuilt the clavier by coating it with some sort of heavy duty clear rust stop.

After some cleaning and using a rust converter, I used aluminum paint.

Boysen makes this silver colored aluminum paint that is fine aluminum particles suspended in a fiberglass resin.

Easy to apply with a brush.

Redid the corroded ground wire and lug by cleaning off the bad wire and soldering some fresh thick ground-braid with a new terminal, screw and copper ground lug.

        Thanks Skydawg! Custodians are us.:-)

While I was down there, I overhauled the expression pedal and cleaned up the hardware, took some rubbing compound to the finish for the 60 years of oxidation. Click image for larger version

Do you do your own refinish work on the wood? It looks factory-new.I`d love to see a tutorial of the process you use.,I`m sure a lot of others would too.

            The finish is the original.

I have not refinished anything of the wood.

I'm sure there are others more experienced in Hammond finishes.:-)
