Finding the percussion a bit lame and "plinky" even after modifying it. I'd like it to have a much more profound attack, and then a faster decay. This has me thinking:
The envelope of the percussion in the E-100 is dictated by the reiteration/keyer module. A DC voltage comes out of it, and its size determines the volume of the perc signal. What if one were to modify the keyer module so that you get:
* MUCH higher initial gain at the attack of each perc cycle. Close to overdriving the perc amp
* Faster decay, and also not as linear - more of a logarithmic dropoff than a straight line
What do y'all think - am I on to something?
