    Hammond Oil

Daughter found this at a flea market yesterday. Thought it was pretty interesting.

When I saw the subject of this thread, I resisted opening it, thinking it was the beginning the hundredth discussion on what oil to use in Hammond organs.

Now I'm glad I opened the thread. I have two of these same Hammond oil cans, one is like new and never used.

I also have many sheet music versions of "MacArthur Park" (pictured behind the oil can).
An awesome piece of music, especially the version done by Richard Harris.

Thanks for sharing, Jim. You have a fine daughter, always on the hunt for Hammond stuff for Dad !

BTW, the organ is an A100, right?

Earlier cans were just the plated metal with a printed label. Note the address was pre-zip code, which became 60639.
