Could this support the "intelligent design" theory regarding the Hammond's evolution?

Cor! Do the drawbar wires really follow the same order as the resistor colours?
I never suspected the reason for the colour choices!

D'oh, but I didn't look at your photos, did I? You're in there already. Best to get into those contacts with a cotton-bud/q-tip and cleaner.

EXCEPT there's a warning out there about not spraying stuff into the T's drawbars, some sprays will make the housing brittle over time, so the story goes.
Safest bet is applying the CRC on a rag after getting into the housing itself.
Once you've dug into there a few times it becomes second nature.
If you haven't been in there before let us know... many moons ago there were threads here with pictorial step by step instructions. With luck the photos will still be there (The old photo hosting sites from those dark ages are gradually shutting down...)

I used the CRC on my M102 and it does help but I don't think removes everything but should get you up and and running.

That CRC stuff is exactly what I used on my L100 drawbars over a year ago. No problems and still working well.

There's video's on YT showing how to do this properly, but you can cheat by unscrewing the white plastic tabs, which secures the wire to each individual drawbar and remove and clean each drawbar individually,a lot easier than pulling the whole DB assembly to bits

Drawbars are just an electronic contact and that is electronic contact cleaner, so I'd assume yes and that it wouldn't cause problems, don't take my word for it 100% as I don't want to be the one to blame, but I doubt there will be any issues.
