  • Expression pedal: less volume at the end of travel

    Hello everyone,
lately I've noticed that on my M100, the volume gets slightly softer during the last 1 inch or so travel of the expression pedal. If it had been much less than that, I'd be inclined to think it's caused by the felts that have compressed, but obviously it has to be something else. Any thoughts?
    thanks

Sounds like the moveable part of the expression capacitor is being pushed past the point where it is fully meshed (the max volume point). There is an adjustment slot in the pedal linkage where you can set the maximum position by slightly loosening a nut and moving the screw in the slot. Set it to the optimum position an retighten.

Great! I adjusted that screw and the pedal works as expected. Thanks.
