I just picked up an a143. It sounds great ,but It does have a starter issue . I have to reach inside the cabinet and press in the shaft while holding the starter switch to make it engage and spool up. I'm not sure what the problem is or how to fix it yet. Wondering if its s common issue, and what the normal fix is. Thanks for the future help.

Member Bobmann has a good video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gWwmX85-Ha4 This is a common problem which can be fixed by cleaning the start motor shaft and gear so it slides smoothly. Use WD40, then Hammond oil.
