  • Foam Corrosion issue and drawbar

I just finished replacing the foam on both manuals of my 65 a100. Now with everything back together i've noticed that i have what appears to be a dead drawbar. The wire is connected to the back of the drawbar, but if i only have that one drawbar pulled out, i get no sound at all on any key.

Does this mean that one of the wires near the foam is likely broken?

i should add that i had almost no corrosion although the foam had turned gummy. And i didn't notice any broken wiring at that time.

I would suspect a broken connection between that particular drawbar and its associated preset key contact. Does that particular harmonic appear when other preset keys are in use?

Is the problem the same on both drawbar sets?
