  • source for a T 524 left cheek block and switches ?

I would like to replace mine for cosmetic reasons and also to see if a different 'sustain' switch will make it possible me to turn the pedal sustain off.

The only source is another T500, most likely.

If the pedal sustain is permanently on (and for most players that's exactly what they'll want, of course) that could be the switch, but it's just as likely to be a fault in the pedal keying. Take the cheek block off the access the switches and make sure that the switch is making and breaking as it should. If you've sourced another T500 for the cheek block, you'll have another pedal circuit board, if that is the culprit.
It's not what you play. It's not how you play. It's the fact that you're playing that counts.

Never had a T so I do not know...but if the cheek blocks from an H or E100 will work, I believe that I have a few left that you can have. I also have the swell pedal from the H which has toe switches if they will work.
In theory, there is no difference between theory and reality.
      In reality, there is.

The left cheek blocks on the T-series are wider and accommodate rocker tabs.
