  • L-100 Vibrato Amp Recap

I'm working on replacing the electrolytic cans with discrete caps in my L-100. Power amp and percussion amp cans are straightforward enough. A bit confused on the can in the vibrato amp though. It's clear that C111+ goes to the triangle, C109+ to the square, C110+ to the half-circle. What's not clear are the two ground tabs. This is the only can in the organ that has more than one ground tab wired up. One tab has a black wire and what I believe is R125 hooked to it, and the other has two black wires to it. Which caps were grounded to which tabs? Does it matter? Can they all be grounded together?

All the ground tabs of the can are electrically common so you should be able to connect all three leads to ground together.

That's what I figured. And it worked. Dang this thing sounds good now. Thanks!
