  • Which drum machine is in 5222 Maverick?

Hello. I recently picked up a broken Hammond 5222 I (which apparently is called Maverick outside the US). I want to make use of the drum module, since it works. I was trying to fins any info at all regarding this organ, but it is not very easy when 99.99% of all Hammond related is A-100, B3 etc. Does anyone know if this drum module was used in any other models that the schematics might be easier ti get hold of?

The circuit boards are numbered as follows, if that is any help:

    Main board: 124-000172
    Other board: 124-000194, 023-044775

Board for syncrostart etc: 124-000276, 023-047444

I could provide pictures if needed, but I do not have access to the drum module when writing this.

    Best regards
    Ronja

Cougar 7100 series and the original Piper Autochord model 727 are another two that used that unit, there may be more.
It's not what you play. It's not how you play. It's the fact that you're playing that counts.

Aha! Thanx alot! That helped me tremendeously. I found this post: https://organforum.com/forums/forum/...km-also-mostly where the schematics were shared, and instantly recognized the drum module as the same as mine. Now for some experimenting with it to see if I can get it to run at all, and then some on how the sounds can be altered.

        Best regards
