I just did a spaghetti connection of the Motion Sound line out, and into my M-Audio studio monitors and the A-100 came to life in a new way. I had gotten a bit bored with playing this one-month old organ lately, but now I can't wait for tomorrow when the house is empty so I can be spat at again. And this is from rather cheap studio monitors. High end is alive. Key click and percussion are accentuated. And bassy sound is no longer merely shooting into my shins. I now look forward to playing the upper-most octave, which previously sounded quite insipid. Yes, I know, a Leslie will take it up another ethereal level, but that ain't in the budget right now. A Lester K might be.

I wondered what the purpose of the .001 uf capacitor was for, and then I researched and found that it was a "bright capacitor" (aka "treble bleed" capacitor). Very popular mod with guitar players (of which I'm not): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qIr97kvSddU

Where was the .001? At my shop with the BC and the CV being all "woke" and everything I find myself just wanting everyone to go home so I can be alone with them 8)

I think I see- gives a treble boost as you turn the level down?

          Crank it through a Marshall!!!
          Current:
1971 T-202 with Carsten Meyer mods: Remove key click filters, single-trigger percussion, UM 16' drawbar volume correction. Lower Manual bass foldback.
Korg CX3 (original 1980's analogue model).
1967 Leslie 122 with custom inbuilt preamp on back panel for 1/4" line-level inputs, bass & treble controls. Horn diffusers intact.
2009 Marshall 2061x HW Plexi head into Marshall 4x12 cabinet.

          Former:
          1964 C3
          196x M-102
          197x X5
          197x Leslie 825

The cap is very hard to see in the photo, as it is aligned with the edge of the white covered alligator clip where the two resistors converge. I will put it all together in a metal kit box tomorrow. I could not find the exact resistor values at my local Fry's electronics, so I'm using a 2.7K and a 12K ohm instead of a 2.2k and a 10K ohm.
