  • A100 Sound Test #1 (Key Click)

Can I ask for your ears to review the clip below and give me your opinion on 1.) General sound quality, 2.) Key Click level? I recorded this clip into GarageBand via the Motion Sound Line Out circuit and via a Focusrite Scarlett 2i4. The only thing GarageBand added was a bit of reverb. I understand that key click is "to the taste" but still, give me your opinions. I think it's a bit too much and may have to pad down treble a bit. Pardon the sloppy playing. Thanks!

Sounds pretty nice to me! I leave it to the experts to comment on the click level, my frame of reference is limited mostly to my own organs I've been fooling with. I basically unleash whatever 'highs' they have to offer and my neighbors must deal with the results 8)

I'd say your key click "level" is a bit higher than what I get from my A102, but it's the sound some people really want. Might be more of a personal preference?
