  • M-100 with AO-67 ... amp variant change date?

Everywhere I've looked, All the info I've seen is that the ”later M-100s” got the AO-67 instead of the AO-29. But, what is a ”later M-100” in this context?

Asking because I have M-102 serial 72247 on the way in (I've bought it unseen) and the original bill of sale is included, with a september '68 date. I'm guessing this one is likely to have the AO-67?

I think I remember reading somewhere once that it was 67-68 that used it, but I'm not sure. According to tonewheel hospital that serial would've been produced in 67, so I'd say it's likely to have an AO-67, since even if I'm wrong about the years that's probably within a year of when they stopped being produced (January 68), so I'd say it's a safe bet that that's a “later” M100.
