Hammond M100 "Reverb" ...works fine ..then starts buzzing really loud after a few minutes both tabs do it? I checked the resistors on the switch and they seem OK..they have drifted a little but not enough to cause problem...unconnected the reverb tank still does it? someone mentioned the caps and possibly the tank connections? i have a cap checker should i test them? if i do ..will it work while they are connected? or do i need to disconnect one side of each cap before testing? it seems like a short out to me very loud ..different from a 60 cycle hum...thanks in advance

I assume everything works fine without reverb, which has isolated your problem to the reverb. If you haven't checked just play through for a while after starting it up without reverb. But it probably is in the amplifier not the tank, due to the amount of time it takes to start occurring.1949 Hammond CV w/1960 Leslie 45 (converted to 145), using H-1 and Leslie 25 amp
