Howdy All

My L-100 is coming around but I'm finding that the percussion is much louder than the normal organ sounds. It's also very harsh and brittle sounding. Perhaps this is just the way the L series percussion sounds but I'm not positive. If not, any advice on how to remedy this? I have yet to clean the contacts for the RCA cablesand they are filthy, maybe that will do the trick? Also, the reverb seemed to cut out last night every now and then. It didn't vanish with any noise, just one moment it was on, the next not... perhaps that's related somehow?

Also, I've found a Leslie 900 in supposedly good working condition for $450. I thought that was an average price, I might pass and wait for a tube-driven model but I was wondering if you had any suggestions on a place to purchase Hammond to Leslie kits. I was having a hard time finding anything that would work for an L series.
