    My 1938 BA Aeolian-Hammond Organ, the Aeolian Player not working, everything else is in good working order, the Air Motor is working anyone out there that works on Aeolian player ?

      There is a guy in the Minneapolis area that restores player pianos. Where are you located?

          First, let me suggest that you add your location to your profile so when you have questions it will help those who might supply answers to provide more local information.

          John Tuttle at Player Care in Brick, NJ, has player piano technicians listed on his site who should be able to help you. That Aeolian mechanism is straight out of the player piano world and the only thing different is that it operates electrical contacts instead of pushing on piano keys. The motor and vacuum pump were standard equipment on reproducing pianos so those are not unique either.

              I have restored three of these player actions over the years and they are a really well build unit but a dog to remove and reinstall in the tight cabinet. Wishing you the best. They play very smoothly when properly rebuilt.
