• M3 - Low frequency sound while swelling the volume pedal

So I installed my 122 on my M-3 today and it's working great (besides all the restoring job I need to do on y M-3)

I find that there is a Low frequency rumble click sound everytime I move the swell pedal fast up and down.

I also find that the organ has a pretty low frequency response: It seems like I'm missing some high end compared to my M-100. Any insight?

Totally guessing, does the organ have a spring reverb unit? These can generate rumble when vibrated... If so, the rubber mounts could be bad or there could be a bias from the expression pedal due to a bad coupling capacitor. If this bias is sent to a reverb, it may saturate the magnetic driver.

      No there is no reverb.

It's really a rumble but you can hear a low frequency tone that follows you foot movement... It's probably from the pedals because the legato is acting funny on the pedals. I've decided to replace all capacitor I can find on this amp and then I'll do the lamps...There's no more thans 20-30$ of caps anyways...

If you haven't tried it yet, try moving the pedal by hand. You might get a sense of what is going on better this way.

If the pedal is a light dependent resistor type, possibly the lamp is vibrating and is loose and modulating the signal.
