M100: second octave "A" keys don't sound--upper & lower manuals

Hello everyone. I recently saved an M101 from the dumpster. Everything works as it should except the second octave "A" key on both manuals doesn't sound with only the first drawbars pulled out. All the other drawbars work on those keys. Any ideas? Thank you!

Thank you for saving the M101.
The most likely issue is a broken wire at the generator from the manual bundle at note #34.
It is the most broken of all,being the shortest and first one out of the bundle.
Remove the generator cover and follow the manual to generator cable bundle to it's first connection.It can look connected and still be a cold solder joint.
Whenever these are moved without tightening down the generator the wires are often broken Bingo,#34 for the thousandth time Id bet.
Hope you have soldering skills.An alligator clip or two are useful for testing.
Wedge down the missing key,and with it running carefully touch the broken wire to it's mostly obvious missing connection on the filter post.

You were right on, Sweet Pete! The #34 wire was broken at filter transformer #70. Plays perfectly now. Thank you!
