My trusty A100 has sometimes developed tiny spots of white mold, both in wood and metal. I've wiped them away and hoped for the best. It's been a while since I looked in the back or opened it, and I suspect it might have come back.
Also, the big black bundle of cloth-covered cables has always been deep in decades-old dust, no matter how hard I try to vacuum it. Might be mold too, not sure.
So, what can I do without botching anything? I know vinegar is safe on the metals, and on rubber cables, but what about the cloth covered cable?
And what about the wood? When I did see the mold, I could find it in some finished and unfinished wood surfaces. i.e. in the Leslie, pedalboard, and mostly in the back. Not sure if vinegar is a good idea there.
Any tips welcome! I want to be prepared before I open the back and see the stuff!!!
