Is B3 fall board solid wood or solid core ply?

I will add that Valhalla does great work. I have used several of their pieces. Perfect!. Pricey.. But you get what you pay for..

Most of the better consoles have built up panels. The core is poplar or some other stable wood, followed by a 90 degree veneer of usually mahogany, then the final veneer of walnut, 90 degrees from the mahogany, parallel to the grain of the core wood. Valhalla makes finished and unfinished reproductions and they are worth every penny.
