  • On-site service in NJ/NY/PA area?

Hello all - any recommendations on a company or person who can do an on-site (at home) regular service on an A100? I am in the central NJ area so I would guess the NJ/NY/PA area would be where they'd be located. Most places I've tried to contact are either out of business or not answering. Thanks!

I have several people, that are actively servicing. But they may be a bit far for you. PM me and I can put you in touch. They may even know of others.
    BTW what is the problem?

Hi - thanks - will do - it's new to me but it's not been serviced or oiled for at least 10-15 years and the generator is quite noisy on startup, and the fast decay percussion setting is a bit “poppy”, and perhaps it's just in need of a look-over as I haven't had one of these before. A one family “living room” organ so cosmetically excellent but it just wasn't used much.

Check-in with Tom Petro over at http://www.tompetro.com/ORGANSTUFF/. If there's anyone that can give you an answer on this, it's him.

Hi - still no luck - Tom doesn't respond. Can anyone suggest someone who can do a light A100 service in the NJ/PA area? I'd do it myself but I'd like to see it done one by a pro before I start dumping oil in places I don't have experience with.

Did you call the people I mentioned? That may be able to refer you.

Hi - I didn't get the message - could you send it again? Thanks!

You could perhaps call Retrolinear and ask them for a referral. I know they don't do field service calls -- or didn't the last time I talked to them about it. They're in Pennsylvania.

Thanks - I'll call them and check. I wonder if anyone else might know of someone in the area who can do a basic service? NY/NJ/PA area... simple check and oiling is all I need to see once done, so I can do it myself. Any ideas from the forum?...

Just an observation: This is why a lot of technicians have quit doing field service calls.
