  • M-100 busbars in model M?

Just bought what I believed to be an M-2 upgraded with an M-3 amp, but it turned out to be an M upgraded to an M-2 with an incomplete M-3 amp install. Incomplete in as far as the percussion switches being miswired, but also in that there were no extra key contacts inserted for triggering percussion - so above the midpoint it's all "Small's Paradise" ;)

Now. I have switches and plenty of full length busbars from an M-100 lying around but having never been inside spinet manuals this old I wonder - will the M-100 busbars fit?

She's quite the looker, considering the age:

      Should not be a problem.
The sole difference is length. They have the same wire crimp/solder attachment.
If you're lucky and have a lot of busbars to choose from, you can even keep the color code matching.
I wasn't so lucky so I had to keep track of the changes ("green is really yellow") until hookup at the matching trans.

When I add foldback, I do the next tech a favor by pig tailing the correct color wire on the buss bar.
