  • Hammond R100 Transistor Substitute

In the percussion and reiteration driver that I am troubleshooting in this R100, there is a bunch of transistors marked 21135D. Can anyone help me with a substitute? I have googled datasheets but the number appears as part of a longer number for something else such as a relay.

I am aware there used to be a pdf document that listed equivalent discreet components for vintage solid state Hammond and Leslie circuits but I must have lost it on one of my old computers!

Ahh the PR40/AO44 transistor! Excellent I have some of those 😁

I should add that some genius (not me) had cut the legs of one of them and then cooked it soldering it back together.

      Thanks td

        Hello,

In this diagram where transistors are used in switching between two states : On and Off.
        The parameters are not critical.
Any NPN Silicon transistor could be suitable.
You may find some by boning old electronics.
But be careful to don't mix the legs.
